The UNOPS Africa Regional Office, based in Nairobi, Kenya, oversees the delivery of over 250 projects across 40 countries, with a focus on fragile and conflict-affected settings. Supported by more than 1,000 personnel across five multi-country offices—spanning North, West, Central, Eastern and Southern Africa, and the Horn of Africa—the office advances national priorities through strategic initiatives in Climate Action, Health, Infrastructure, Peace and Security, Middle-Income Country Support, and Small Island Developing States (SIDS). The Regional Office provides strategic leadership, operational support, and oversight in key areas including Partnerships, Communications, Management and Oversight, Infrastructure and Project Management, Health and Safety, and Security. By promoting excellence in project delivery, fostering knowledge sharing, and driving continuous improvement, the office contributes to sustainable infrastructure, transparent resource management, and a better quality of life for communities across the continent.

Based in Tunis, the North Africa Multi-Country Office (NAMCO) oversees operations in Algeria, Egypt, Libya, and Morocco, delivering project management, financial services, infrastructure, procurement, and human resources support. With active project offices in Morocco and Libya, NAMCO works in close partnership with governments, NGOs, and international financial institutions to advance socio-economic development across the region. NAMCO’s portfolio spans health, justice, climate action, and environmental preservation, while promoting youth and women's empowerment through improved access to education and employment opportunities. Key initiatives include: supplying digital learning materials for Tunisian schools (World Bank), supporting Tunisia’s national development plan (AICS), enhancing maritime border management (EU), delivering high-tech health equipment to 75 hospitals (World Bank), supporting resilient agriculture in Libya (IFAD), and advancing vocational training in Morocco (KOICA). NAMCO’s work contributes directly to inclusive growth and progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Le Bureau des Nations Unies pour les services d’appui aux projets (UNOPS) est un organe opérationnel des Nations Unies soutenant la mise en œuvre efficace des projets de ses partenaires dans les domaines humanitaire, de la consolidation de la paix et du développement. Pour répondre aux besoins croissants de UNOPS en matière de projets d'infrastructure, particulièrement dans des zones reculées, le recrutement d'un ingénieur en génie civil est crucial. L’ingénieur en génie civil jouera un rôle essentiel dans la conception, la planification et l'optimisation des structures et des infrastructures, ainsi que dans le suivi des projets. Son expertise sera déterminante pour garantir la solidité, la sécurité et la durabilité des ouvrages, même dans des environnements difficiles d'accès. En intégrant un ingénieur en génie civil dans nos équipes, nous renforçons notre capacité à concevoir des solutions innovantes et à livrer des projets de haute qualité, répondant ainsi aux attentes toujours plus élevées de nos partenaires, quel que soit le lieu d'intervention.

Sous la supervision du ou des chef(s) de projet, et suivant les besoins spécifiques de chaque mission, le consultant devra accomplir les tâches ci-dessous:

1. Réalisation des plans techniques: L'ingénieur en génie civil devra élaborer les plans structure. Cela inclut l'analyse des plans existants le cas échéant, la conception des nouvelles structures, et la coordination avec les autres intervenants.
2. Conception des nouvelles constructions: En se basant sur les plans fournis par l'architecte ou d'autres entités et à la demande du Chef de Projet, l'ingénieur en génie civil devra concevoir les nouvelles structures. Cela inclut la définition des spécifications techniques, le choix des matériaux et la conception des éléments pour répondre aux besoins fonctionnels du projet.
3. Coordination avec les autres intervenants: L'ingénieur en génie civil devra collaborer étroitement avec les autres professionnels impliqués dans le projet, tels que les architectes, les ingénieurs fluides, les ingénieurs électriques, et les membres de l'équipe technique du projet. Il devra assurer une coordination efficace entre les différentes disciplines pour garantir l'intégration harmonieuse des éléments structurels dans le bâtiment et la conformité avec les objectifs du projet.
4. Préparation de la Documentation Technique : Préparer la documentation technique nécessaire, y compris les notes de calcul, les spécifications des matériaux et des méthodes de construction.
5. Supervision de Projet : Planifier et superviser les travaux.
6. Conformité aux Normes : Veiller à ce que les projets respectent les normes et règlements en vigueur, en assurant leur conformité avec les exigences légales et les bonnes pratiques du secteur.

Obligatoire

• Un diplôme d’Ingénieur en génie civil, architecture ou toutes disciplines similaires (BAC+5 - Niveau Master) est exigé.

Obligaotire 

• Le candidat doit posséder au moins 5 années d’expérience dans le domaine de la conception structurelle de bâtiment

Souhaité 

• Expérience dans les bâtiments du secteur de la santé est préférable 

• Expérience de travail au sein du système des Nations Unies est un atout.
