About the Region
The Asia Pacific Regional Office, based in Bangkok, Thailand, provides strategic leadership and oversight for UNOPS operations across 17 countries, ensuring high performance, operational excellence, and alignment with organizational goals. Operations currently span Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Pacific Islands. Across these countries, we work closely with key stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and maximize impact through five main operating units: Afghanistan (AFCO), Myanmar (MMCO), South Asia Multi-Country Office (SAMCO), East Asia and Pacific Multi-Country Office (EAPMCO), and the Asia Regional Health Cluster (ARHC). Through these entities, we provide agile, client-focused service delivery across diverse sectors - including infrastructure, health, procurement, and project management - supporting the implementation of sustainable development solutions across the region.

The South Asia Multi-Country Office (SAMCO) supports UNOPS operations across six countries: Bangladesh, India, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. SAMCO delivers a broad range of services and technical expertise in climate change, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), infrastructure, procurement, human resource management, and fund management. Each country office is staffed with local technical experts and maintains strong partnerships with national governments, ensuring context-specific solutions and effective project implementation.

Since 1999, UNOPS has been a committed partner in Pakistan, supporting the country’s progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). UNOPS focuses on delivering essential services, including strengthening health systems, expanding access to WASH facilities in remote areas, and improving infrastructure for schools and communities. We also support emergency response efforts, delivering critical medical supplies and essential services during times of crisis. Through close collaboration with the Government of Pakistan, development partners, donors, and UN agencies, UNOPS works to build resilient, sustainable communities. Leveraging expertise in project management, procurement, human resources, and infrastructure, we provide tailored solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and maximize development impact.

The role will play a central function in advancing UNICEF Pakistan's private sector fundraising ambitions through digital channels
The consultant will work in the Private Sector Fundraising team and collaborate closely with the broader Advocacy and Communications, Partnership and Resource Mobilization, and PFP's Regional Support Centre teams to ensure alignment across donor-facing digital engagement.
They will also work with a local advertising agency.

The Digital Fundraising Consultant will support the planning, development, and implementation of digital marketing and fundraising strategies to maximize donor acquisition and retention. This will include creating and managing performance-driven digital campaigns, generating actionable insights through analytics to improve donor journeys, and optimizing digital channels to increase revenue and donor lifetime value.

1. Plan and execute digital fundraising campaigns
- Lead end-to-end planning, implementation, monitoring, and optimization of digital marketing activities, including online advertising, search engine marketing (SEM), social media promotions, and other digital channels.
- Develop data-driven campaign strategies to increase donor acquisition efficiency and lower cost per acquisition.
- Provide timely, in-depth analysis of donor behaviour, profiles, and digital performance to inform ongoing optimization decisions.
2. Strengthen digital content & creative execution
- Coordinate campaign-specific digital creative planning with internal and external stakeholders.
- Generate and contribute innovative ideas and concepts for digital acquisition, donor journey integration, and value maximization.
- Prepare clear and detailed creative briefs for agencies and media partners, ensuring compliance with UNICEF's brand guidelines.
3. Digital analytics, insights, and optimization
- Conduct regular key performance indicator (KPI) monitoring, including traffic, conversions, retention, return on ad spend (ROAS), and donor value metrics.
- Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, AdWords, Ad Manager) to generate insights that guide decision-making.
- Maintain tracking mechanisms and ensure digital assets comply with best practice measurement and tagging
4. Stakeholder, vendor, and partner management
- Collaborate and maintain productive relationships with creative agencies, media partners, and other vendors to ensure delivery of high-quality digital fundraising materials and campaigns.
- Collaborate internally across Communications, Programmes, Private Fundraising, and Partnerships. (PFP) HQ and Resource Mobilization teams to ensure digital fundraising dovetails with ongoing communication and audience-focused strategies.
- Provide detailed and informative briefs to agency and media partners for campaign requirements, creative guidelines, development regulations, and working processes.
5. Budgeting, reporting & resource management
- Support responsible budget management through data preparation, monitoring expenditure, and contributing to forecasting and reporting.
- Regular digital KPI monitoring, analysis & data-based insight generation.
- Research and share up-to-date advertising and marketing trends, best practices, and technologies with team members, management, and the wider office.
- Ensure procurement and financial processes are followed in coordination with the supervisor.

- A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline with 2 years of relevant experience is required.
- A university degree is advantageous in one of the following fields: Business administration, Arts, Marketing, Communications, or other relevant or significant experience in managing ROI-driven digital fundraising and communication using paid media platforms.

Skills:
- Strong, demonstrated data analysis skills (Google Analytics, AdWords, Meta/ Facebook Ad Manager), including digital tracking and analytics is required.
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Marketing (especially using Salesforce software) , social listening analysis is desirable.
- Strong project management, interpersonal, and communication skills (including time management and budgeting) is desirable.
- Familiarity with nonprofit communications or fundraising is an asset.
