The Atlassian Solution Coordinator will be part of the IT Operations Team and will be responsible for maintenance and stakeholder management when it comes to the Atlassian Suite. Team support multi-stakeholder interests across UNOPS, providing flexible and configurable platforms that support multiple business goals.

The role ensures the platform's integrity, provides training, and promotes best practices to support successful delivery of business solutions.

Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems or other related scientific or technical discipline or related fields with 2 years of relevant experience OR
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in any of the above or related fields with 4 years of relevant experience is required OR
Technical/Professional Diploma with 6 years of relevant experience OR
Secondary School Diploma with 8 years of relevant experience.

At least 2 years of experience in configuring Jira and Confluence SaaS to deliver business software solutions.
Confluence Experience: Administrative-level experience in designing, maintaining, and optimizing Confluence spaces for team collaboration and knowledge sharing. Expertise includes leveraging advanced Confluence features (e.g. templates, macros, automations and integrations), managing user permissions and access controls, and monitoring Confluence performance and implementing improvements.
Jira Experience: Proven experience configuring workflows, and issue types to align with Agile methodologies. This includes a deep understanding of how to customise Jira to meet specific team needs, track project progress, and drive efficient issue resolution.
Experience in creating JIRA and Service Desk workflows, including project workflows, security schemes, screen schemes, JIRA vocabulary, permission and notification schemes.
Desired
Experience in recommending process efficiency/optimization in collaborative settings.
Experience with scripting or automation for Atlassian cloud management.
Experience in conducting user training, and workshops about Jira & Confluence.
Work experience in international organizations.

- For staff positions only, UNOPS reserves the right to appoint a candidate at a lower level than the advertised level of the post.
- For retainer contracts, you must complete a few mandatory courses (they take around 4 hours to complete) in your own time, before providing services to UNOPS. Refreshers or new mandatory courses may be required during your contract. Please note that you will not receive any compensation for taking courses and refreshers.
